I love common phrases in our vocabulary that give us good directions that can be so insightful, if not down right literal!
“Brush it off” for example means to let go and not let it all bother you. Literally let it go and be free of the stress that it is creating, it is not worth the cost. It may be easier said than done for the one that is upset about something. So try not to take “it” (whatever it may be) Personally….
I will introduce you to an Ancient Secret for and detoxification-Dry brushing! We will start with a sequence and a particular direction. We will brush the tension right out. Shake it off! Get refreshed!
Think of our “Practice” as a journey and it is not only about mindless repetition but repeated in order to get to know yourself a little better! When we are repeating a sequence of movement -we attune our awareness, mindfulness and presence with ourselves and for ourselves. We work on the basics, the nitty gritty basics of whatever we may be doing, the most essential but mundane tasks…..can bring us insight and mindfulness in movement.
As you probably already know, I am interested in Neurology-Brain Training as I like to call it. The more repetitions we do of a task, we find our neutral and move from it, the better posture we have, the better balance we have and the more we have access to our power! So, in honor of repetition and continuing our self care -We must repeat. – The more we attune to our body and give it a little love, we prosper, we learn about ourselves in a way that improves our life. It is all good! #BiologyOfLove #KeepSharingTheLove
